Who Is Anica?

I wasn’t always a successful businesswoman. It took many years of long days and sleepless nights to build the grit I now possess to become who I am today!

I have background experience in the medical field from West Haven High School ’10, where I completed the Certified Nursing Assistant Program, obtaining my CNA License. After Graduation, it wasn’t long before I was enrolled at Porter and Chester Institute of Branford ’11; and later received my Medical Assistant Certification.

Taking Psychology courses gave me a deep understanding of child development – insight I now utilize to provide a safe, and nurturing environment for children. I volunteered at community food banks, and that experience sharpened my communication and taught me the quiet power of connection. I pushed forward into a state‑offered trade program, took on long days and late nights working as a valet driver, care aid, security guard, medical assistant, warehouse technician, and mystery shopper.

I encountered some devastating hardships in my life, and those adversities put a strain on my family and my relationship. I needed help! I needed to find employment, but had no childcare – the catch was, I also needed childcare, but didn’t have stable employment. Everywhere I turned, there were locked doors. That’s why I created this company. To eliminate those same mishaps and confusion for other parents.

And then came business school. Every hardship, every detour, every humble victory became the bricks of a foundation strong enough to hold my dream of becoming an Entrepreneur who opens doors for others, so they never have to feel the weight of being trapped, voiceless, and unseen like I did.
